Having seen The Zermatt Lodge we know it’s all about the incredible location. This one of a kind ski lodge is situated close to the main train station and high street and is a quick 5-minute walk with skis to the Sunnegga Express lift station. It is exceptional in every way – with a unique quirkiness in interior design that sets it apart. A highly unusual but lovely fireplace with seats around is the focal point in the lounge. The Zermatt Lodge takes up the whole top floor, all 320 sqm, with an unmatched view over the rooftops dominated by mighty Matterhorn views. Each of the super stylish bedrooms has en-suite bathrooms and TVs, plus a private sauna and outdoor jacuzzi on the balcony. Exceptional staff await too, so you don’t have to lift a finger.
Overview
The Zermatt Lodge is one of Zermatt’s most luxurious and unique catered chalets. This super luxury chalet is in a brilliant location, situated close to the main street and the Sunnegga Express lift station. The lodge takes up the whole of the top floor of the property, taking advantage of jaw-dropping views over the mighty Matterhorn. A private sauna and outdoor jacuzzi on the balcony ensure that first-class pampering and relaxation are the order of the day.
The chalet sleeps 10 guests in five en-suite double bedrooms all with a TV. Every facet of design at The Zermatt Lodge has been meticulously deliberated to showcase the wooden-beamed ceilings and stylish furniture. Everywhere you look you see something truly eye-catching. In the main living area floor to ceiling windows offer spectacular Matterhorn views, a heavy wooden dining table seats 12 comfortably and a quirky hexagonal fireplace surrounded by a table and stools takes centre stage. Squashy sofas and a u-shaped seating nook provide the perfect place for nestling down in from of the Tv.

KIDS
The Zermatt Lodge is so centrally located, close to both the village centre and ski lifts it is an excellent choice for families if skiing with children. As every bedroom in the chalet has a TV children can spread out watch a different program in each room or splash away in the hot tub to their heart’s content.
Childcare can be easily arranged and the chef is happy to prepare child-friendly meals, served at whatever time in the evening suits.

Floorplans
Location
Zermatt Lodge is close to the resort centre and rail station and between a 4 to 5 minutes walk to the Sunnegga Express lift station. Located on the top floor, a lift can whisk you to ground level in a jiffy. Zermatt is a car-free resort, so access is usually via the mountain train from the valley below. You can also be picked up by a private vehicle all the way to Zermatt main train station. The nearest airport is Sion, 1hr 30 minutes away and Geneva and Zurich are 3hrs 30 minutes.
