The Lodge in Verbier is quite literally the ultimate luxury Alpine mountain retreat. Having visited this property, I’ve seen a close-up of the incredible facilities and just how stunning this super luxury ski chalet is – if you’re a good skier, you can actually ski back to the chalet through the trees. The Lodge is vast and beautiful in equal measure. Everything in detail and all the interior spaces are excellently considered. An amazingly spacious lounge area features an enormous bar, plus a staff member resides in the chalet all day. The Lodge staff (all 15) are trained to treat clients as friends, so it's outstanding service but not overly formal. Staff includes a Chalet Manager and Concierge, Chef, Chalet hosts, Daily housekeeping, and In-resort driver service. Facilities are exceptional: indoor swimming pool, indoor Jacuzzi, outdoor hot tub, steam room, massage treatment room, gym, games room with pool table and bar, party area with disco ball, TV, WiFi, DVD player and movie library, games console, books games and toys galore. Internal lift to all floors saves tired ski legs and the ski and boot room covers important practicalities. This is the perfect chalet for large groups planning a celebration.

The Lodge is a unique stunning nine-bedroom 5* luxury mountain retreat in Verbier, Switzerland, one of the most exclusive resorts in the Alps and Europe’s trendiest ski destination. Situated on a quiet road, just 250m from the main ski lifts and backing onto the piste, The Lodge indulges in the highest level of ultimate luxury to create an exceptional and unique ski holiday experience.
The super luxury Alpine retreat can accommodate up to 24 guests, 18 adults in 9 en-suite bedrooms and up to 6 children or young adults in a specially designed en-suite bunk room, making it a magnet for large groups of friends or families holidaying. Every level of comfort imaginable is on offer at The Lodge from an indoor 9m swimming pool, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, party room with pool table and disco, even a mini ice rink and a friendly team of 15 staff on hand, including a spa therapist and Michelin-star trained chef.
The interior space is vast and exquisite in every sense, super stylish in every small detail from the contemporary furniture, fabrics and sleek fittings, to exquisitely designed relaxation and pampering zones. Each space is peppered with lovely artefacts from around the world creating a homely warm ambience that radiates throughout the interior space.
Skiing is as hassle-free as it gets with the main Medran lift just 250 metres from the door and ski-in access for experienced skiers right into The Lodge front door where you can simply take off your ski gear in the ski boot room, and enjoy the hours of après ski in every way imaginable, dive into the 9m swimming pool or quaff champagne in both indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The billiards room and party area are complete with a funky disco ball, creating a real sense of fun, so you feel you can really let your hair down.
The rooms at The Lodge rival any 5* hotel and are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors accessed by the internal lift. Each bedroom is uniquely designed including a Duplex Room which has a bathroom located up a set of stairs and two vast Master suites located on the top floor that can be interconnected for families.
Both Master Suites have private balconies set against a stunning mountain backdrop and private living areas featuring beautiful centrepiece fireplaces and comfy sofas to relax on chilly evenings. Each suite comes with spacious bathrooms, including huge soaking tubs, rain showers and a range of toiletries including all the essentials you may have forgotten to pack.
The kids’ bunk room can accommodate six children and comes equipped with three sets of bunk beds, a separate shower room, a plasma screen TV with a DVD player, a games console and bean bags – perfect for some time away from the adults.
The real crowning glory is your Michelin star trained chef, trained under the watchful eye of Raymond Blanc, who is at the ready to create culinary masterpieces from breakfast and afternoon tea served daily to 4-course dinner six nights a week.

Location
The Lodge is located 250 metres past the Medran lift or a 30 seconds drive. Good skiers can ski back through some trees to the chalet. A driver service runs 24 hours a day, however, the shops and restaurants of Verbier are a few minutes walk. The nearest airport is Geneva International Airport just 2 hours away and Zurich Airport 3 hours away by car. Private planes can land at Sion Airport, just a 45-minute transfer to The Lodge.
