The Falcon Lodge Penthouse has been so well designed for a luxury ski holiday in Meribel. Not only is the location just 150m from the slopes, but you have the private use of a pool table, outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna. What better way to spend a week in the mountains
Overview
The Falcon Lodge Penthouse is a duplex apartment in the centre of Meribel, France. Great care has gone into thinking what skiers could want from their chalet and they have hit the nail on the head. Guests have an outdoor hot tub on one of the 2 terraces with seating area, indoor sauna which is perfect for resting aching muscles and going into the evening, and playing a game of pool by the chalet’s own bar.
The decor is modern with vaulted ceiling and exposed timber beams, huge L-shaped sofa and a stylish freestanding fireplace.
Being part of the larger Meribel luxury chalet’s Falcon Residence gives a little extra service within the self catered chalet. There is a customised welcome and in-resort concierge service, in-house ski shop, wellness and spa and private indoor parking. The chalet also has a private laundry and washing machines for your use.
The convenient location is 150m from the Morel chairlift and 500m from the centre of Meribel. Guests can either choose to use the shuttle service to get to the lifts and ski school at the Chaudanne in the centre, alternatively the Morel ski lift is a 200m walk. The centre is a pleasant walk and you will find all the shops, bars and restaurants that make the Meribel so popular.
There are so many amenities within the Falcon Residence and guests have shared use of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, wellness spa with massage and treatments, reception, concierge, shuttle service and underground parking. Guests can also get their skis as soon as they arrive from the in-house ski hire shop. The chalet itself has a wine cellar, 2 terraces with one having the outdoor hot tub, sauna and billiards table. It’s hard to think how much more you could need!
The chalet has a modern style with state of the art kitchen, this comes kitted out with all the mod-cons including a Nespresso machine. The contemporary design is combined with deep plump sofas and sheepskin stools to bring a cosy feel. Sensitive lighting in the beams as well as beautiful lighting throughout give a warm relaxed glow.
The bedrooms have the same beautiful finish with antique wood panelling, soft blankets and sleek en suite bath/shower rooms. Two of the bedrooms have double beds with en suite facilities and there are three rooms which can be made up as triple rooms with pull-out beds. There are a total of 4 bathrooms.
Should you wish to eat out in the evenings the in-resort concierge can help to book and recommend restaurants for you. The team will also be able to help with instruction or any activities. A private chef could also be arranged.
The Penthouse is one of the top self catered chalets in Meribel and is great for all guests who enjoy those extra facilities off the mountain. Families with kids of all ages will love the pool, whilst a group of friends will enjoy coming back for apres drinks in the hot tub, a game of pool and relaxing in the sauna!

This really is an ideal option for families with kids, plenty of space for them to relax as well as the hot tub to take a dip in. They will also love the residence swimming pool, ideal for an afternoon off the slopes. Use the shuttle service to get to and from ski school each day which operates from 8.30pm – 6pm each day.
