You are only five minutes walk from the bright lights of Chamonix, yet in a beautiful quiet spot surrounded by trees on the edge of the forest. Outdoor indulgence is at the heart of this Scandinavian inspired chalet, with a spacious hot tub and stunning barrel sauna, just relax and unwind whilst taking in the beautiful views. Inside you have everything you could wish for, with a huge open-plan sitting-dining room with a minstrel gallery above doubling up as an office area and a cosy central fireplace, all providing the opportunity to relax in one of Chamonix’s best luxury chalets.

Overview

Chalet Valhalla, Chamonix is an open-plan, light-filled luxury catered chalet in Chamonix, truly making the most of its beautiful location, set amongst the edge of the forest with views across the valley to Mont Blanc. Despite the seemingly sleepy location, you are only a five minutes walk to the centre of Chamonix and the sports centre and some of the best apres ski in France. The stylish set-up outside includes an amazing bubble fronted barrel sauna and hot tub to take in those incredible views. 

Inside the chalet, true to its name ‘Valhalla’ is bathed in scandi style, with honey-coloured natural wood offset with calming tones and a huge stone fireplace surrounded by deep sofas and cosy throws. The dining room features a long table next to huge double-height windows. Overlooking the living area is the Minstrel gallery with an office area and more seating, the perfect setting for escaping with a good book.


Chalet Valhalla sleeps 12 – 15 guests in 6 spacious en-suite bedrooms, decorated in a pared-back, luxury Alpine style, heaven when you want a little quiet time. For larger groups, there is the seventh bedroom with a large double bed and two singles, perfect for families. Extra guests can be accommodated on request if needed. The chalet is designed to pamper you at every level and waking in the indulgent rooms, you’ll find it hard to get up. 

The Brevent lift that connects to the Flegere ski area is only 3 minutes by car from the chalet. The woods and garden surrounding the chalet offer a fairytale spot for young and old to enjoy snowball fights, snowman building and exploring, whilst those who maybe find themselves lacking the energy can revive aching muscles and tired bodies in the sauna and hot tub.

Children may well protest when the time comes to leave as Chalet Valhalla is a treasure trove for children of all ages. From time outside with the indulgence of the hot tub, sauna and large private garden for snow time, through to watching movies, playing on the Wii and perhaps even board games, everything is provided.
