Chalet Lhotse is a rare jewel and beautifully glamorous in every way. This super luxury chalet excels with outstanding facilities and service, nestled in an amazing location, just along the main high street in Val d’Isere. (Note a chauffeur driver can whisk you around daily from 8am till 11pm). Setting the tone of the place, a large fully stocked bar awaits in the entrance (ideal for corporate groups and celebrations). On the ground floor are the exceptional spa facilities - a large indoor swimming pool with a state-of-the-art projector screen descending at the touch of a button, massage room, sauna, Hammam, gym and indoor Jacuzzi. A further outdoor hot tub you can access from the front bedroom terraces. A mezzanine lounge area is ideal for children, complete with widescreen TV and games console. The entire chalet is packed with state-of-the-art technology: plasma TVs and iPod docking stations in each bedroom to drop-down screens in the lounge and pool area, all connected to the chalet’s multimedia entertainment system. This fabulous chalet is spread over an enormous 500 sq metres. This grand space is an amazing combination of rustic charm with sophisticated modernity to create warmth and character. Reclaimed and vintage wood is the dominant theme – panelling, beams, floors, walls and doors; all beautifully crafted. Enormous leather and cowhide sofas feature is the vast open plan living room with toasty open fire complete with its own bar, large wood coffee table and funky lighting everywhere. A stunning grand piano sits in the corner, awaiting evening entertainment. The dining area is spacious with fantastic views of La Face and the church spire.
The 5* chalet facilities (both spa and tech-wise) are as good as it gets. Located on the ground floor, a large indoor swimming pool to gently immerse your weary ski body comes with a state-of-the-art projector screen descending at the touch of a button surrounded by luxurious, fur-covered day beds. KIDS
Chalet Lhotse is a fantastic place for kids as the position alone is perfect for family groups with children as the gentle blue Solaise piste is a few minutes drive away. A chauffeur service also allows easy access for kids to be dropped off at ski school or a quick trip into the resort centre. The chalet’s swimming pool and outdoor tub is a big hit with children splashing around to unwind after a day on the slopes. Then after skiing, there are plenty of child-friendly movies to snuggle up to in the TV mezzanine room.
