This is a truly unique and wonderful Meribel chalet. Having been in private hands for many years, Chalet La Varappe is decorated in the manner of a fine chateau or country house, complete with antiques and rich furnishings. However, that is not to say it is lacking in modern comforts - from the outdoor hot tub to the cinema room this luxury chalet offers something for everyone.

Overview

Situated in the centre of Meribel but still offering the convenience of a driver to get you to any particular lift, bar or cafe you’ll love having this superb chalet to yourselves. With exemplary food and service whether you want to enjoy a glass of champagne in the hot tub on the terrace or a whisky in front of the fire, nothing is too much trouble.

Entering the chalet you will first be able to kick off skis and boots in the heated boot room. Staff will be ready with your perfect drink and of course freshly baked afternoon tea will be served, either in the sitting room or if the weather is fair you might perhaps head to the spacious terrace to enjoy the views. Filled with beautiful furnishings, antiques, books aplenty and perfect aged leather chairs this luxury chalet exudes quality and warmth. Spend a little time easing muscles in the hot tub or steam room before the evening starts. Champagne and canapes initiate the proceedings giving you time to sit around the fire and catch up with one another. Your personal chef will then provide you with four perfect courses, all matched with fine Château and Domaine wines.

After supper, you can happily retire to one of the five beautiful bedrooms (there is an additional sixth bedroom in the eaves for children).  All the rooms offer goose down duvets, pillows aplenty, fine Egyptian linens and all the extras you would expect. Of course, the next morning breakfast awaits, with cooked options, fresh juices and smoothies all ready to set you up for the day.

Location

This luxury catered Chalet La Varappe is a short walk from the centre of town, or please do make use of the driver service to get to wherever you want to be with no hassle. Chambery airport is just 1h 15m away by car; Lyon and Geneva, around 2 hrs drive away.
