The chalet is ideally situated, moments from the centre of Morzine, and for stronger skiers, the property can be accessed by a gentle off-piste ski from the Retour de Nants piste. With 5 principal en-suite bedrooms plus a children’s bunk room, Chalet Joux Plane sleep up to 10 adults and 4 children in complete luxury.

Chalet Joux Plane is really like being on a set of “James Bond”. You enter by the 15m underground tunnel, taking you from the garage and boot room into the heart of the chalet. And prepare to be wowed every step of the way with star quality evident at every turn. The biggest star is the vast 23m pool – and wait for it – it literally passes right through the building, so you get to enjoy a generous indoor section in the middle, then wonderful alfresco outdoor sections at either end. Closing the outdoor section turns the inside into a traditional pool with massaging swimming jets. The range of spa facilities continues too with a gym, sauna and treatment room with Bamford Spa products and bespoke treatments on offer throughout the season.
The open living spaces are awe-inspiring, lavish and luxurious. Glazed from top-to-bottom, the living area boasts phenomenal views over Morzine village, with funky swing seats perfect for entertaining little ones or swinging with a glass in hand. The sumptuous dining area delights on a central mezzanine, and for bookworms, there is a separate library. A wonderful bar sits on a mezzanine at the front of the building accessed via a glass staircase, allowing you to see directly through to the entrance of the pool. Seriously, cool.

What’s more competent skiers can ski directly back to Chalet Joux Plane from the Morzine side of the valley, via a short stretch of gentle off-piste. The Pleney lift is just 250m from the front door offering easy access to the expansive Portes du Soleil ski area; one of the largest in the world. The nearest airport is Geneva, 1hr away by car.
