Editor's Review

Chalet Inuit is hard to beat. This luxury catered chalet in Val d’Isère has thought of everything to ensure a relaxing ski holiday. From the spa area with a Jacuzzi and sauna to the wood-burning fireplace, to the ski and boot room on the entrance level so you can easily slip on your slippers, to the private shuttle service, Chalet Inuit is the perfect mountain escape for friends and families.

Overview

Chalet Inuit has everything you could want for a perfect ski holiday to Val d’Isère. Located on the quiet Chemin du Petit Alaska, the closest pistes are just an approximate 6-minute drive away and the town centre, full of vibrant bars and restaurants, is an even shorter 3-4 minute drive. And during your stay, you have a private shuttle to take you to the slopes each morning and bring you back to your chalet at the end of the day.

This luxury chalet in Val d’Isère has all the traditional features you would expect, creating the picture-perfect chalet. But our favourite place is the heavenly spa area, situated on the Chalet Inuit’s lower ground floor. Here you can soothe your aching legs in the sunken Jacuzzi, sauna and rain shower. You’re spoilt for ways to relax.

The chalet fuses modern design with traditional touches, which can be seen through the wood-panelled walls, giving an authentic cosy chalet feel. Combined with luscious sheepskin rugs and muted tones, the owners have created something both luxurious and welcoming.  Head down to the upper ground floor, where you will find the inviting open-plan kitchen and dining area with a dining table which seats 8, perfect for entertaining large groups or families. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for your contactless catering stay.

Joined to the kitchen is the cosy living area, with a stunning wood-burning fireplace. Settle into the sofas with a glass of wine whilst you exchange stories whilst taking in the enchanting alpine surroundings from the large windows. There is also a spacious balcony on this level where you can step out and fully appreciate the panoramic view.

Chalet Inuit is rented on a contactless catered basis. Breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and evening meals are all included, but you will not see the staff. You and your family will be safe and well looked after, as the team in the resort work in the background, providing everything you need. Your chef will have prepared a delicious menu for the week, with a mix of ready-prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy-to-cook dishes or sides – these will be delivered throughout the week. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal.

Chalet Inuit sleeps up to 10 + 2 guests across 5 beautiful bedrooms. Each bedroom benefits from en-suite facilities, with the first-floor bedroom also having the added luxury of a private balcony. A family suite, situated on the upper ground floor, has a double/twin bed and a children’s bunk bed.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

Founded in 1988, this Owner has decades of experience in creating hassle-free holidays, understanding what truly matters to their guests. Adapting to a more contactless world, they offer three levels of service, allowing stays to be tailored to individual needs. Upon arrival, your premium chalet will be ready with beds made, dinner prepared, fridges stocked, ski equipment booked, and lift passes delivered. While much of the service operates discreetly behind the scenes, the team is just a phone call away for anything you may require, ensuring both safety and comfort throughout your winter getaway.

For self-catered stays, a mid-week clean with a towel change, end-of-stay cleaning, a welcome basket, and firewood are all included. For those seeking a more effortless experience, the contactless catered service enhances your holiday with a Champagne reception and a fully stocked kitchen. Each morning, breakfast provisions will be ready, along with afternoon snacks and pre-dinner nibbles. On five evenings, prepared meals from a local Savoyard delicatessen will be waiting, and on one night, guests can enjoy a traditional raclette dinner. This service ensures that all your culinary needs are met without the hassle of meal planning, so you can focus on enjoying your holiday.
