Overview

Verbier is home to a number of spectacular luxury Swiss chalets, but perhaps none so sumptuous and spacious as this beautiful five-bedroom, six-bathroom masterpiece Chalet Duex Riés. Situated a short 2 minute walk away from the Les Esserts and Le Rouge beginner pistes and just five minutes by car from the centre of town, this chalet is the perfect base for a truly unforgettable ski holiday. But with its plush amenities, including an all-encompassing spa, cinema room, and terrace with a firepit you may find yourself spending as much time inside as out.

Chalet Deux Riés is cleverly designed across a number of different levels and has a substantial terrace with a firepit and dining table, so is superb for a large family or group of friends. 

Oozing style and luxury, the main living area is open-plan, with a kitchen and dining room with a flagstone floor opening onto a beautifully decorated sitting room with a spectacular double-height ceiling and an elegant sofa area with a large marble open fireplace and TV. Heading down one level is a large study decorated in a traditional style with leather, wood and dark hues the round table can be used for a post-diner digestif or games with a separate guest WC next door.

The separate cinema room offers a fantastically comfortable place to watch a movie on the wall-to-wall projector screen with the added bonus of surround sound.  Alternatively, for those who need pampering and rejuvenation, there is a spa on the ground floor with an indoor hot tub, sauna and steam room and a relaxing area with a wood burner and panoramic window with sweeping views across the mountain.  

Luxury Chalet Deux Ries sleeps 10 guests across 5 bedrooms, each containing an en-suite bath or shower room in a modern wood and stone mix. Two of the bedrooms are in a private yet connected apartment which has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with TV and opens onto a terrace and garden.  This area can be closed off to the main house and has its own entrance.  The Master bedroom suite is located exclusively across the top floor and has a dressing room and private balcony.  Two more bedrooms are found on the first floor, one on the upper part and one on the lower, all decorated to the highest standard.

The experienced staff at this chalet will want to make sure you have a first-class experience and you won’t have to lift a finger as this chalet is fully serviced with a Michelin-trained chef, hostess, housekeeping and a driver on call until 1am.

The Chalet Deux Riés makes a fabulous family-friendly chalet in Verbier.   With a separate cinema room for popcorn and movies, a hot tub for hours of fun and a study where the older ones can get into a game of cards, this chalet is set up with entertainment for the kids in mind.  The beginner slopes are so close that they could walk to the lifts or for the older children the on-hand private chauffeur could drive them to town for some shopping. 

Just let us know and childcare can be arranged, creating more time for you on the slopes, or a chance to enjoy the resort’s nightlife knowing your little ones are well looked after.

Location

Chalet Deux Riés is within a 2-minute walk to both Les Esserts and Le Rouge beginner areas which makes it ideal for a family with young children. From Le Rouge piste, ski down to the Mayentzet lift to access the wider ski area. It is a 5 minute drive to the central lift hub and main Médran station and a 3-4 minute drive to the centre of Verbier where you will find an array of luxury shops and restaurants. For better skiers the Savoleyres lift station is a 2 minute drive away and takes you towards the family friendly La Tzoumaz & Savoleyres ski area. Geneva airport is 1hr and 20 minutes away, private jets can land at Sion airport, just 40 minutes.
