Located in the picturesque village of Le Fornet, Chalet Atacama is a beautifully designed chalet apartment in Val d’Isere, sleeping up to ten guests in four stylish bedrooms. Conveniently situated a short a five-minute walk from the pistes and the village centre, this is a fantastic chalet for those looking for a ski holiday to Val d’Isere with friends and families.
Split across two levels, this luxury Val d’Isere chalet is alpine chic through and through. Think exposed wood, mountain vistas views and muted tones, all complemented by stylish furnishing. This chalet apartment will delight you from the morning you walk through the door.
Entering on the ground floor, you will be welcomed by the spacious living and dining area with plush sofas set around a roaring fireplace, the perfect spot for pre-dinner aperitifs or for unwinding after a night out in the resort. There is also a terrace that overlooks the stunning scenery, including views of the Isère River, so you can take in the sights from the comfort of your own chalet. Just off from the living room, you will find the open-plan kitchen, perfect for contactless catering.
Chalet Atacama is rented on a contactless catered basis. Breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and evening meals are all included, but you will not see the staff. You and your family will be safe and well looked after, as the team in the resort work in the background, providing everything you need. Your chef will have prepared a delicious menu for the week, with a mix of ready-prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy-to-cook dishes or sides – these will be delivered throughout the week. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal.
Chalet Aatcama sleeps up to 6 – 10 guests across 4 bedrooms. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor which all have their own en-suite shower rooms; two double rooms, one of which has access to the terrace, and a third bedroom containing two sets of bunk beds which are perfect for those travelling with children. The spacious master suite which boasts a comfortable king-size bed can be found on the first floor just off the landing which also houses a sauna, Jacuzzi bath, a shower and a sink.
For those driving to the chalet, an underground parking space will be available from December 2023.

Chalet Atacama is a great family-friendly ski chalet in Val d’Isere for those travelling with kids. Being just. 5 minutes from the slopes, but also in a quiet village for Le Fornet means you get the best of both worlds. The spacious living area means you can gather together for movies and games after a day on the slopes. And the kids will love the dedicated bunk bedroom – it will be like a slumber party each evening!
Just let us know and childcare can be arranged, creating more time for you on the slopes, or a chance to enjoy the resort’s nightlife knowing your little ones are well looked after.

For those seeking a more effortless experience, the contactless catered service enhances your holiday with a Champagne reception and a fully stocked kitchen. Each morning, breakfast provisions will be ready, along with afternoon snacks and pre-dinner nibbles. On five evenings, prepared meals from a local Savoyard delicatessen will be waiting, and on one night, guests can enjoy a traditional raclette dinner. Chalet Atacama is located in the village of Le Fornet – a picturesque and traditional hamlet at the top end of Val d’Isere. The chalet is just a short five-minute walk from the pistes and the village centre. The centre of Val d’Isere is also just a 6-minute drive away, meaning you are within close proximity to the range of bars and restaurants on offer to you. The world-famous resort of Val d’Isere is 3 hours from Geneva Airport, 2hrs 45minutes from Chambery and 3 hours from Lyon. Grenoble Airport can also be reached in 3 hours and 35 minutes.
