It is rare to find this level in Tignes catered chalets of this standard, but Chalet Ambre delivers a real punch. This luxury property is all about decadence, and a wonderful hot tub situated on the terrace with comfy chairs and snuggly throws around it so all can enjoy the stunning views of the mountain peaks and Tigne le Lac. Inside you’ve every opportunity to continue enjoying those views through floor to ceiling windows in the main living area, but with the fire roaring and your four-course supper being called your attention may be called elsewhere. In fact, the food served to you throughout your stay will surely be an enduring highlight.
Overview
From the high-tech to the gorgeous interiors the modern and luxury Chalet Ambre will be the perfect spot for a group of 8 (+ 3 if required). A large sitting room is ideal for relaxing in and the beautiful table will form the place for many a memorable meal. The large hot tub is the perfect spot to take a drink and gaze out over the mountains as this is one hell of a view. Just off the Almes Piste, Chalet Ambre offers the perfect spot to explore the Espace Killy area and, for all the ski fiends, a bonus will be that with good snow conditions one can simply ski back to the chalet, however, it is a simple minute's walk otherwise. For those with children, or wanting to start the days skiing from another spot, your driver will be ready and waiting to whisk you off. With an alpine feel from some gorgeous wood cladding and beams, it still keeps things modern with fresh pale walls, modern light fittings and a bespoke designed fireplace. The sofa is a huge long sumptuous grey event, covered in cushions just waiting for some first-class lounging. Beautiful bedrooms create the perfect sanctuary with modern fittings, flat-screen TVs and spa-worthy shower/bathrooms in pale wood and stone, complete with decadent toiletries and gorgeous robes, towels and slippers. One room also has a bunk bed making it suitable for families. All have access to balconies or terraces meaning you can take your morning coffee and imbibe the mountain air. Being ski in during good snow its handy access to the Almes piste mean its possible to be skiing super fast.Airport distance by car is 2hr 15m to Chambery, 2h 30m to Grenoble, and 3hrs to both Geneva and Lyon.
