Overview

Chalet Akaroa is a stunning, traditional stone chalet, found in the picturesque hamlet of Le Fornet, located just outside the heart of Val d’Isere. If you are looking for a luxury ski chalet that combines contemporary living with a traditional Alpine feel then this is the perfect place for you!

The luxury self-catered Chalet Akaroa offers a huge living room, with a dining place for 12 persons, a well-equipped kitchen and a cathedral living room. The double west and south windows mean that the chalet is filled with endless sunshine. The south and west-facing windows also give you a breathtaking view of the mountains, the melezes forest and La Face de Bellevarde, illuminated in the evening. The wide fireplace is made for enjoying quality friends and family time.

A jacuzzi is found on the terrace, which is the perfect place to ease your tired legs after a day on the slopes. Take in the stars above you whilst hearing the Isère River below the chalet – relaxation at its best! Chalet Akaroa also has a home cinema room where you can set up the latest blockbuster.

Chalet Akaroa sleeps up to 12 guests across its 5 bedrooms. The neat and cosy bedrooms are equipped with top-class hotel bedding, for deep and restful nights, and have en-suite facilities. There is also a family suite with a double bed, bunk bed and private bathroom, making it perfect for those travelling with kids.

Chalet Akaroa is based in the idyllic hamlet of Le Fornet, which is at the top end of Val d’Isere. The Fornet ski lift Mangard ski slopes are both only 100 metres away, perfect for making first lifts! The world-famous resort of Val d’Isere is 3 hours from Geneva Airport, 2hrs 45minutes from Chambery and 3 hours from Lyon. Grenoble Airport can also be reached in 3 hours and 35 minutes.
