Overview
Chalet Big Bear, set in the heart of Argentière, basks in glorious south-west sunshine and offers magnificent views of the Aiguilles Rouges and Mont Blanc. Sleeping up to 11 guests across five beautifully appointed bedrooms, it delivers the perfect blend of style, comfort and alpine charm.
The first floor is home to the open plan living and dining area, where floor to ceiling windows frame sweeping mountain vistas. A cosy lounge is arranged around a double sided fireplace that also warms a separate study, while the fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar provides a welcoming space for sociable dining. A dedicated TV room offers the ideal retreat for children’s film nights or games. On the ground floor, a sauna with adjoining shower room and guest WC opens onto a spacious terrace, where a sunken outdoor Jacuzzi awaits for the ultimate après ski indulgence. The sumptuous master suite occupies the top floor, complete with walk in wardrobe, en suite bathroom and private balcony. Four additional en suite bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one of which features a single mezzanine bed for an extra guest.

Chalet Big Bear enjoys a prime position in the heart of Argentière’s charming old village, with the centre just a few minutes’ walk away. Guests can make use of the free bus service, or, for those who prefer to head to Les Grands Montets ski area on foot, a scenic 10 to 15 minute walk through the back of the village and along the cross-country ski track leads directly to the home piste.
