Luxury ski holidays in the Paradiski area

La Plagne has evolved significantly since its establishment, offering a diverse range of experiences across its multiple altitudinal villages. Nestled in the French Alps, its highest point reaches 3,080m, ensuring reliable snow cover throughout the season. La Plagne’s snowsure reputation has been central to its enduring popularity over the decades. Being part of the one of the world’s largest linked ski areas further enhances its appeal, with seamless connections to nearby resorts like Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry.

La Plagne emerged at the tail end of a 20-year period of purpose-built ski resort development in the French Alps, integrating the best lessons learned from previous endeavours while avoiding architectural pitfalls. Designed for ski-in, ski-out convenience, the resort eschewed the concrete high-rises of the 1960s in favour of smaller, more attractive buildings. Today, La Plagne thrives as a full-service destination, offering a spectrum of accommodations, from cosy chalets to luxurious hotels and Michelin-starred dining experiences. Its success has prompted expansion in amenities, yet it maintains a compact, vibrant atmosphere cherished by visitors.

Situated in the expansive Paradiski area, La Plagne enjoys unparalleled access to over 425km of skiable terrain, with a majority of its slopes situated above 2,000m altitude. It boasts a prolonged ski season, opening in mid-November and closing in mid-May, rivalled only by Tignes in snow reliability. Beyond skiing, La Plagne has developed into a multifaceted destination with diverse shopping, dining, and leisure options, including sports centres, spas, and digital connectivity hubs. Despite its growth, the resort retains a youthful charm and remains a favourite among skiing enthusiasts seeking both adventure and relaxation.

Nestled in the French Alps, La Plagne rises to an impressive 3250m, offering superb snow conditions all season long. Its allure lies in an extensive array of ski-in/ski-out chalets and apartments, ensuring you maximise your time on the mountain.

Covering over 225km of varied terrain, La Plagne caters to all skill levels, from gentle slopes to challenging runs. Off-piste enthusiasts are drawn to its northern slopes like Bellecôte and Belle Plagne Glacier, renowned for untouched powder and exhilarating descents.

Beyond skiing, La Plagne offers diverse activities from snowshoeing to ice climbing, ensuring a thrilling alpine experience. Discover the ultimate winter escape in La Plagne, where adventure meets luxury amidst breathtaking alpine scenery.

La Plagne is a fantastic resort for families and beginners, offering a welcoming environment with 70% of its terrain rated as easy or intermediate and numerous gentle blue runs. The ski area is thoughtfully designed to cater to all skill levels, with gentle slopes and wide pistes at lower altitudes, such as La Plagne 1800 and La Plagne Centre, providing a safe and enjoyable introduction to skiing. As skiers progress, they can explore more challenging runs higher up, with the comfort of returning to easier slopes when needed.

The resort’s ski schools are renowned for their beginner-friendly teaching methods, ensuring newcomers learn proper techniques from the start. Dedicated learner zones with gentle gradients and easy-to-ride conveyor lifts make the learning process smooth and enjoyable. For kids, La Plagne offers special programs and facilities, including age-appropriate instruction and family-friendly activities like snow playgrounds and gentle sledding areas. Mr C K - 29 March 2023Previous Client 5* Review on Trustpilot

I tasked Anna to find ski in – ski out accommodation for my boss and his young family for a weeks holiday in the French Alpes; with a vague brief she presented several amazing options, complete with rates for Private Jet, transfers etc. The family had a fantastic experience staying in Courchevel 1850 and couldn’t be happier with the accommodation, and the ski instruction which Anna also recommended. Anna does know her stuff, and would highly recommend her to find you the perfect holiday whatever the brief!

MRS K A - 7 Feb 2023Previous Client 5* Review on Trustpilot

Thanks to Anna and her team, we have just returned from yet ANOTHER wonderful holiday in Austria. The Chalet Edit has become our go to point of contact for our ski holidays in Europe. Their select properties are beautifully appointed and maintained to a very high standard. Anna made sure that every detail was in order for us prior to arrival so that we could maximize our leisure time whilst on holiday. She is a consummate professional. I cannot recommend the Chalet Edit’s services enough and will be booking next year’s holiday soon!
