Shrouded by the Mont Blanc, Chamonix is often known for its hard core skiers and off piste terrain found in the impressive Vallee Blanche area.
At just an hour from Geneva it also taps in to the long-weekend market and has recently upped its game in the social scene with bars like ‘Bar Social’ and the ‘Cap Horn’ popular for a more contemporary and upmarket après ski scene.
Excitingly the legendary après ski bar La Folie Douce is set to make its foray into a large hotel in Chamonix centre, complete with three different restaurants and two bars for the upcoming 2018/19 season.
Chamonix has a fabulous selection of luxury ski chalets and we can’t wait to see this new addition in resort, to really set the town apart when it comes to chic après ski and and modern stylish dining experiences.
With all this going on Chamonix looks set to be the new ‘must try’ resort in 2018/19.
